Job Description( Assistant Director)
Position: ICT Governance, Risk Management, and Compliance Specialist
Location: Sukkur
Contract Duration: Initial contract of 5 years (extendable if required)
Educational Background
- Degree: Bachelor’s (4 Years) in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cyber Security, Information Security, or equivalent.
- Recognition: Degrees must be recognized and attested by the Higher Education Commission (HEC).
Professional Experience
- Experience: Preferably 1 year of post-graduation experience in ICT Governance, Risk Management, and Compliance roles. Fresh graduates are also encouraged to apply.
- Certifications: ISO-27001, CISA, CGEIT certifications will be preferred
Skills and Competencies of Assistant Director
- Security Frameworks: Understanding of various security frameworks, including ISO 27001, NIST, and CIS Controls.
- Technical Resource: Stay updated on best practices and technological advancements; act as a technical resource for security assessment and compliance.
- Related Duties: Perform other related duties as assigned based on business requirements.
- Information Security Knowledge: Familiarity with information security principles, practices, and technologies, including threat landscapes, vulnerabilities, and attack vectors.
- Risk Assessment: Understanding of risk assessment methodologies, risk identification, risk analysis, and risk mitigation strategies.
- Audit Skills: Ability to conduct audits as per ISO requirements and formulate audit reports.
- Incident Response: Experience with the incident response cycle, incident report generation, and the use of SOAR technology to support SOC operations.
- Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills to convey information security and compliance information to various stakeholders, including senior management and technical teams.
- Analytical Skills: Ability to assess complex information security risks, evaluate compliance gaps, and develop effective solutions.
- EPP and EDR Deployment: Experience in deploying Endpoint Protection Platform (EPP) and Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) solutions on systems and devices.
Terms and Conditions
- Selected candidates will be hired initially for a contract period of 5 years (extendable if required).
- Management reserves the right to accept or reject any application without assigning any reason.
- Only shortlisted candidates will be called for tests/interviews.
- Candidates will be disqualified if false information is provided.
- Employees serving in Government/Semi-Government departments must provide/attach a No Objection Certificate (NOC) at the time of application submission.
- A 5-year relaxation in age is already included in the above age limit.
- Selected candidates must provide Medical Fitness and Character Certificates.
- No TA/DA will be admissible.
- Attested degrees from the Higher Education Commission (HEC) or relevant regulatory bodies must be provided at the time of the interview.
